Main tasks & responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using C# and/or F# within the .NET ecosystem.
- Write clean, efficient, scalable, and maintainable code following software development best practices.
- Develop and integrate APIs, backend services, and software components.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications to ensure performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in C# and .NET development.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, software design principles, and best practices.
- Experience developing backend applications, services, and APIs using .NET.
- Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a development team.
Nice to have
- Experience with F# development (highly valued and preferred).
- Knowledge of functional programming concepts and paradigms.
- Experience with ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework Core.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails ( valued ).
