Main tasks & responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions using Python and TypeScript.
- Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines using Kedro.
- Develop and optimize PostgreSQL databases, including complex queries and performance optimization.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation practices.
- Work with Kubernetes environments and Helm charts.
- Contribute to infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Work with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow.
- Leverage AI-assisted development and agentic engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot.
- Own the full development lifecycle of new features, from technical design and implementation through testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Independently investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver reliable, maintainable, and scalable solutions.
- Contribute to frontend development using React and Next.js when required.
Requirements
- Strong professional experience with Python and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with Kedro for data pipeline development.
- Advanced, hands-on experience with PostgreSQL.
- Professional experience with CI/CD and software delivery automation.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and Helm charts.
- Understanding of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code concepts is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with Airflow or other workflow orchestration tools is a plus.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted development and agentic engineering tools, such as GitHub Copilot.
- High level of autonomy and ownership, with the ability to independently manage the full development lifecycle of new features.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate and resolve technical issues without constant supervision.
- Experience with React and Next.js is a strong plus.
